Shropshire Housing Group has welcomed four young people from Ludlow and Church Stretton to its offices in Craven Arms this month on work experience.
The latest intake includes Kristi Jordan working in the Finance Department and Callum Higham working in TRL (Total Response Ltd) the Group’s maintenance department. Previous work experience placements have also included working with the teams in asset management, supported living, marketing, HR and IT.
Kristi said ‘I have really enjoyed working in the Finance Department, I have been given some interesting things to do’.
Kate Cox, Head of Human Resources from Shropshire Housing Group said: “We have a long tradition of offering work experience and some of these placements have been a stepping stone to apprenticeships and in some cases job offers within the business. We’re always delighted by the pupils that join us, who are quick to learn and engaging. The week gives them a good indication of the variety of career opportunities available in the housing sector.”
