We regard the privacy of those who use this website as very important. Who are we?

South Shropshire and Meres and Mosses Housing Association's registered office is at The Gateway, The Auction Yard, Craven Arms. SY7 9BW. We are the data controller under the United Kingdom’s Data Protection Act 1998 in respect of the personal information to which this Privacy Policy applies. We have notified the Office of the Information Commissioner of our data processing activities.

What information do we collect from visitors to the website? 

We collect information from you if you choose to contact us with an enquiry. The information we collect includes your contact details (such as name, company and email address) together with information that you provide to us including which topics are of interest to you and such other information as we require to respond to your enquiry. We assume that any information you supply to us is accurate and up to date, that you will inform us if any such information removed or updated.  If you submit a third party’s details to us so that they receive communications from us you must have that third party’s permission to do so.

How do we use your personal information? 

We use your information to deal with your enquiry. We will not share personal information about you with third parties unless we are legally required to do so. We do not trade or rent your personal information to third parties. 

How to make a request
A Data Access Request can be made in writing, either by letter; email; online form, social media or in person. Once we have received the request we will contact you to acknowledge the request, and arrange the best way for you to view your personal information. This could be, over the phone, by sending it to you or by appointment at
our offices. The Data Access Request provides you with the right to see the information we hold, it does not give you the right to see the document that holds this information. You may only be able to see page(s) that relate to you, but not the pages that relate to someone else. For example a document about a neighbourhood dispute. You will need to provide us with your name, the address you want the information sent to, along with 2 forms of identification. One of which must be a photo ID, such as driving licence or passport. Also give details about the information you want to obtain.

What information can I access?

Information that may cause harm to you or others will not be provided, and information relating to a third party will not be provided without their written agreement. All third party references will be removed from requested data.
