The latest news on our Marstons Hub and Ludlow Foyer extension development in Ludlow, due to be completed in Autumn 2019. Marstons Hub contains a mix of privately rented commercial properties, with the Foyer extension including 2-bedroom apartments for young people aged 16-25.



August 2019

Skim plaster being applied.

Tarmac patching continuing.

Slabs being laid to side of single-storey extension.

Groundworks to front and rear of new build extension.

May 2019

Single storey extension steel frame now erected.

Plywood installed to roof timbers.

Concrete floor base laid ready for floor screed preparation.

Groundworkers laying road kerbs to rear foyer car park.

January 2019

Plastering progressing on top floor of extension.

Ground floor and 1st floor being decorated.

Bathrooms being tiled on 2nd floor.

Kitchens on-site for ground and 1st floor flats.

Electrics progressing well on 2nd floor.

Mill building refurbishment now progressing 3rd /2nd and 1st floor.

Mill building ground floor – mostly decorated and work progressing well with some electrics and joinery to complete.

October 2018

Rear elevation and front elevation ridges and verges now being formed.

Ground floor apartments now plastered.

Plasterboard commenced on 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors.

Doors and window boards now installed on ground floor and ongoing on 1st floor level.

Mill building refurbishment now progressing well - most new stud walls now erected. Fire doors now being installed.

July 2018

Refurbishment now progressing well.

Timber sarking being installed to top of trusses.

Concealed gutters now sealed with rubber membrane.

Roof lights now being installed flush with roof.

April 2018

Formation level is being excavated and site being cleared of spoil prior to excavation of foundations.

Electrician now installing power supply to site welfare accommodation.

November 2017

Demolition works now commenced with internal strip out to Harvest House and the roof has now been removed.

Windows on either side of the building removed to provide ease of disposal of materials.
